Had the pho soup was amazing.... One of the best I've had, who would guess in this little restaurant. Sever was very nice was on top of keeping my drink filled and checking in. The wontons were lights and very tasty also. Can't wait to come back again.

No drivers so no food. Frist time ordering. Most likely last time. 3 day wait on my money back.

Wow. This place is amazing! The food is SO GOOD. The soup is light & flavorful with fresh veggies & the curry is fantastic- I over ate but it's so worth it. The decor is beautiful & the ambiance is calm, chic & comfortable. I will definitely be returning.

The service and food is unmatched for Thai in the area. Their Tom Yum with the rice noodles is a must. Please follow it up with the Mango Sticky Rice

Basil fried rice was sooo good. Mango sticky rice...yummy and the mango was just perfectly ripe. Will definitely be back!

The service and food are excellent. The menu is not cluttered and focused on the best they have to offer. The decor is nice, but the ambiance left a little to be desired. No music or anything was a little odd. Wouldn't keep me from going back and definitely the go-to place for takeout Thai food in the area.

Great service, amazing food! Im OBSESSED with the Tom Yum noodle with tofu. The crab rangoons are surprisingly good. Highly reccomend.

So disappointed. I ordered the Pad Thai with extra tofu and the Fresh Rolls. With the pad thai all I tasted was fish sauce!! (Read DISGUSTING) The fresh rolls were made with too much basil so every bite was like eating basil. (GROSS) Do yourself a favor & go somewhere else.

1/1 star is for the chef and his/her food, its not their fault the front-end service is racist and terrible. The worst part is, I saw how my waitress was treating me different than the other Asian and White customers.I asked for the Tom Yum soup and I got a flat reply, "Small bowl?", I said "Sorry?" as I did not understand what she meant. She said "uh-huh" and took the menu from me. I had to keep my cool because I had company and that's probably the worst remark I've given to any restaurant as a Local Guide.Thankfully my evening wasn't ruined as that $6 bowl of soup is at least better than the other Thai places. I tipped a generous and solid 25% because I wanted to show them I wasn't some bum that they were treating me like.I don't think I have to say I'm not going back here or recommending this place despite the other good reviews from other people of a different race!

This place used to be "meh" but we tried it after ownership changed recently. Food is 1000% better now. Great flavors and excellent dishes. We'll be back!

My go to Thai place. Best Thailand food in the area for sure. I've been going here for some time. It's authentic Thai place. On tv is always someone running around Thailand eating street food. Interesting to see besides sports on TV all the time.

I've been going to other Thai places in the area and finally tried this place. WOAH! This food was fantastic! The chef/owner was also kind enough to explain more about mixing flavors and what she expected us to taste.Loved that I could come here for great food and learn something new.

Absolutely delicious. The staff is amazing, and the spice levels are perfect (2/medium is very spicy, don't do 2 if you don't like spicy). The thai iced tea is also great. The chicken satay is really good, the shu mai were okay. Very clean, and very good atmosphere. One of the entry doors is hard to open due to air pressure.

Best pad pak and basil duck by far!

Decent food, at best. Got the chicken pad Thai and could literally count on one hand how many pieces of chicken were in it. Not to mention, they were paper-thin pieces. Not worth it at all.

I've tried many Thai restaurants and this is the best in the area. Everything is very fresh and flavorful. Recently enjoyed juicy chicken sate' and shared Pad Thai and Pad See Ew with a friend. The Tom Yum soup is also delicious!

Food had good flavors, the place looks nice.

This is the best Thai food I have had in a long while. The honey duck was so good and the combination fried rice was properly seasoned and delicious. Highly recommend

The food at Ta-Wan Thai restaurant is the best Thai food I've eaten in at least a decade. Located in a large suburban outdoor mall (too large to call a strip mall), Ta-Wan's unassuming facade and ordinary interior provide no indication of the extraordinarily authentic Thai food served inside.I ordered the chicken and mixed veggies ($11), spice level three, and brown rice ($3). The chicken was very high quality and the veggies super-fresh. The sauce, not too sweet or salty, should be bottled and sold in grocery stores. Yes, that good.The brown jasmine rice was also exceptional. It had a deeper hue and was much more substantial (and filling) than other brown rice I've eaten. Turns out, they buy it from Costco!This is a family-owned and operated restaurant, the daughter serving, mom and dad in back doing their magic.

This restaurant is my first choice place. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this restaurant. when I want to go to a superb lunchon, this restaurant comes first to my mind. excellent and food and a large list of dishes.courteous team, and pleasant spirit. Also important, the bill is honest. I praise this restaurant with no doubt.

Good Thai, a little pricey but good quality.

I Really enjoyed my first time there. The food was great, I had shrimp mango and Thai ice tea. The room felt like a fast food restaurant, wish it were nicer. Staff was very attentive.

Excellent Thai food and the staff is super friendly and courteous. I love the basil fried rice, the fried duck is full of flavor, the panang is the right mix of coconut and spicy. It just goes on.

I order everything as hot as they can make it (a four) and boy is it good! Their Tom Yum soup is absolutely amazing!!! The best Thai food I've had outside of Asia (been to several Thai restaurants in Taiwan and Tokyo) and it really reminds me of the quality there. Amazing job, thank you! :D

Wow! One elder waitress was rude. She doesn't seem to like some people based on whatever that is...and saw her over pleasing some.

I visit this place from time to time! This is my favorite place to dine. I visit this spot regularly. The food is fantastic, the crew is friendly and the cost is good. I like meeting in this spot over a tasty dinner.

Authentic Thai food. Love their Curry and the crab Rangoon is some of the best I've had. Could drink the Thai Ice Tea all day long, so addicting! Staff are super friendly and atmosphere is comfortable and quiet even when busy. Easy place to get too as well even though it's small and kind of out of the way. Would recommend to anyone who wants authentic Thai.

Ta Wan Thai is located in Alqonquin commons with lots of parking. The food is authentic Thai from stir fry dies, noodles, and soup dishes. You will find a dish that suits everyone tastes here. Highly recommended and you will not be disappointed!

I like this restaurant! They give marvelous meals, their menu is large, The cook in that spot is very trained, I like very much tasting all their food. The food is always good, the attitude towards the guests is nice. I often go to this place and I was never disappointed. Highly recommended.

Well my mother and I went to try this place the service is great but... My mother ordered a salad and found a Hair in her food I couldn't finish my salad I was done. The chef need to wear a hair net.
